AMEX CLI Decrease

Anyone had an amex get a cli decrease and later get it taken back up?
they are saying that stuff is on the credit report that just isn't there!! I have checked and rechecked and faxed them.
wondering if the luv button is now locked on the account or if I can get it again?

Re: AMEX CLI Decrease

FOR SURE!!
I have asked amex to lay out exactly where they are getting this information from and if they do a manual pull they are not getting the info... i know it... but they won't admit something is wrong... it's the automated review that watches your account on a monthly basis is pulling info from somewhere, maybe from authorized user... but amex swears authorized users credit will not effect account... now have removed all authorized users and still having bad stuff happen!!!
I have always loved amex and they are still very nice everytime I call... but this seems to stump all parties involved, but no one is really willing to risk it.

Well it's clear to me that there is much more information, that you haven't shared, but that is required for a useful reply.

Re: AMEX CLI Decrease

Have you ever filed BK?  Do you think they did a public records search?  Did they name the source?

Re: AMEX CLI Decrease

no that's just it.... The amex account holder has NEVER missed a payment, filed bk, had a collection in life!
Authorized user, which is no longer on account HAS.

Amex says themselves that authorized user does not count... YET it seems pretty obvious that if amex is saying bk has been filed and it's not the primary, you are getting it from the auth.
They say no!!

OH and the only accounts that have been hit are the ones that the auth USE to be on... the ones that are just primary no extra cards have never decreased
