AMEX Offer

So today I decided to call Amex to upgrade my PRG to the Platinum. She looks my account up and said she had an offer for me. She said she had a special offer, Amex would give me 75k points to get the Platinum Buisiness card no spend needed. I have no business cards with Amex so I'm not sure how they knew about my business. I though it was kinda interesting on how they have more info on you that you think. Just thought I would share.

Amex Platinum, Amex Hilton HHonors Surpass, Chase Southwest Premier, Chase Marriott Rewards Premier, Discover IT, Sony Visa, Barclay Arrival+ MC, Cabela Visa, Walmart SC, Amazon SC, Kohls, Diners Club Premier, PayPal Credit, PenFed Platinum Reward Visa, PenFed PLOC, Chase Ritz Carlton, Citi TY Premier, Amex BCP, Discover Miles, Care Credit, Blue Nile SC, iComfort SC, Cap1 Venture, Chase Hyatt, Lowes, US Bank Cash+, Citi Costco Visa

Re: AMEX Offer

That is very interestingly to me, they must of noticed business spending on your current card. At least I hope that is how they figured it out...

Re: AMEX Offer

They get that info from public records I assume. Back when I had an LLC,  Amex would constantly send me offers for their buisness cards. When the LLC disolved, the offers slowly dried up.

I don't put any business spend on my personal Amex, they frown upon that too.

Not really, I have my brother on two of my AMEX cards and they offered to keep him "gold" status for $45 instead of the $175
