Congratualtions on the platinum card! I know how good you must feel. It's a great card to have. I'm finally back in their good graces as well, and couldn't be happier. I use mine for almost all of my dining out (which is a lot) and travel. I also got an Amex Everyday card which grew the fastest and is now my highest limit card.

Wow, so they really are sending the contactless version of the Platinum card by default now. I will miss the non-contactless card, which was a heavier card... big piece of metal.

@kerplunk - it is still a heavy metal card. I don’t know why you think it’s different, they have incorporated the contactless tech into the card. It still feels like a rock when you pick it up and has the beautiful smooth finish.
