Why do you love it? From my point of view (which in my mind is objective truth) it isn't very exciting. A capped 3% on supermarkets, with a much more restricted definition of supermarkets than some Visa cards, an extra month's delay in rewards posting, and a $25 minimum redemption. So what's the plus side! Amex offers? Growth? (I guess we are different because you love the DC too!)
what do you think are better no AF cards for shopping and what makes them better? yes the amex offers and quick limit growth is a big plus for bce and the sub was pretty good too.

I love the BCE too. I make a lot more money back on Amex offers than rewards dollars. Hotels, cruises, retail, insurance, cell phone bills, etc. These are things that I would purchase anyway. Plus I like the card.
You don't necessarily need to maximize rewards in order to keep the card.
Anyone know if the old blue cash is getting the same chop?
RIP Extended warranty...first discover, then citi, now this...
Can anyone suggest a card that still has it - other than citi/costco?
Edit: Crap. Dug through some older pdf bills and saw the notice

I think CF(U) still has it. Hopefully they don't cut it as well. Hoping we don't lose more bennies in 2020.

I feel like the BCE has never kept up with the times. There are very few reasons to get that card now.
I have it but it's pretty much sock drawered.
A lot of cards have had changes this year. Maybe more cards in 2020. Who knows. Your DC lost benefits in 2019.
Yes, it is unfourniate that Amex and others are cutting so many benefits from cards.
