I don't use this feature at all, I always PIF my amex charge card
But for the fun of it I went to the pay over time option on my account and it showed that I can use $35,000 on this feature.
Does that mean that this is my AMEX internal spending limit that nobody knows ?
Does this amount reflect also what AMEX limit of CLI I can get on my Revolver account ?

It's still boils down to what Amex will approve based on the transaction at that very moment in time (snapshot)
And it means nothing as to what your internal limits could be
Sorry

And from what we have seen, $35K is the default amount when people first qualify for Pay Over Time. I haven't seen anyone with a lower amount.

strange, first i've seen also
mine was 35k but the few times i checked my spending power, the highest it was 17k.
I handled a divore where the wife had an AmEx Plat which hit the internal spending limit of, in her case, $50k. Every month she kept charging but would need to pay the full amount over the limit, plus interest on the revolving balance. They never cut her off as long as she paid the $5-10k minimum payments on time. I don't think they would have allowed a $50k purchase in one shot for this particular cardholder, but when the balance accrues at $5-10k per month which is typical for that cardholder, AmEx does seem comfortable with letting you ride it out to the limit.

Anyone get offered MR points to sign up for the pay over time? I did recently, one of the easiest ways to get points! Lol. Funny thing is I didn't know about the points offer to sign up until a customer serfvice rep randomly told me over the phone when I called about something else.
I got these offers on 2 charge cards 10k points each =20k free MR's
Both offers was sent via mail April and June of last year
