I didn't think the Cava restaurants qualified (not listed on AMEX list and wasn't sure if it was an actual Small Business) but I received the $5 credit after it posted!
Will definitely be taking advantage of the remainder of the offer there ![]()
To all of you planning on using this offer at liquor stores: I thought bad things happened if you shopped at a liquor store with your Amex card? I certainly have never had the guts to do it. Maybe Amex is putting all those stores on the map just to smoke out the boozers for AA during these dicey financial times?
And I don't think it's a win-win for quite everyone. Specifically the guy who has to stand there and ring up 10x separate $10 transactions for me, paying separate Amex fees on all 10 swipes.

I could go on...
I've used my Amex at liquor stores and for a few of their wine offers in the past. I don't drink anymore but still pick up stuff if I'm headed to the parents for dinner and for coworkers and close friends around the holidays. Unsure what would happen if you ran a lot of liquor store purchases, but I have a friend who goes to the bar a bunch and uses his Amex too. Never heard of any issues with anything like that.
I own a small business - does anyone know how I would sign up to offer this?

@Anonymous Does this page heplp any?
Also - I received the offer credit for an Etsy purchase
I already got a $5 credit for a stop at Jungle Jim's on a trip to Cincy this weekend. It was a surprise!

Does anyone know if this offer will stack with the Marriott Bonvoy Credits being applied to restaurant spend through August? Most of the Shop Small places near me are restaurants and I didn't know if I would lose out on one promotion to get the other.
Is anyone noticing a merchant would be on the "Shop Small" list and you make a purchase and after the purchase is past pending you still do not get the credit? I see that already happening with one, and I am waiting on a 2nd one to get past pending to see if it happens with that purchase too.
It did work for one merchant however.

I think you can get both.
