Adding a 2nd Card with same issuer

When am I able to add a second card with the same issuer?

I know its a year with Discover. But I would like to add a second card with USB, Wells Fargo, PenFed, Chase, Syncrony, or Citi. I suspect in might be 6 months with Chase because at the six month mark I started getting hard green check offers for a CSP @17.75%. I'm trying to build up enough courage to try for it at LOL/24.

Of the banks you mentioned, I only know Chase. They have a 2/30 rule which means you can get at most, 2 cards in 30 consecutive days. So really you could get a second Chase card on the same day you got your first.

Thank you for your response. Sadly that ship sailed back in Jan. I'm now LOL 24 and scared to take the green check offer.

I got my 2 PenFed cards 1 day apart. I apped for the Gold (not meaning to) and was approved. Called them the next day and said that wasn't the card I wanted, and since the HP are good for 90 days? they were able to app for the card I wanted on the phone and I was approved for the Power Cash Rewards with the same SL. He said to activate both cards when I get them, then call in and have them transfer the CL of the Gold to the Power Cash Rewards, and close the Gold.
