Alliant CU

Has anyone ever got this message when applying for membership: at this time we are unable to establish your membership with Alliant Credit Union. An Alliant representative will contact you within 3 business days regarding your application. Thank you for your interest in Alliant.

I contacted them but membership dept was closed. Does anyone know what this means; Will I not get membership?

This a famous Alliant glitch. Call them, most likely you are in.

i got that message in May, then 3 days later got an email thanking me.... 7 days later I got a welcome packet in the mail....

 

i promply applied for visa/approved with 2.5k CL (however, csr stated i qualified for more of a CL, but new members are limited to 2.5k)....three weeks later approved PL for 8K

Yes, this happened to me, I called amd got my membership within a week, I did not apply for credit products.

Happened to me too. I had to send in the paper application with a letter asking them to use the credit pull from the online system so I didn't wind up with 2 inquiries. I didn't apply for credit products either, just the share account. The 3.69% was too good to pass up.

It happened to me and also DH.

 

As the replies before me stated, it's an Alliant glitch, quite a few others have had the same issue, just call them and you'll be fine
