Would it be correct to assume that Alliant is far more generous at dispensing credit goodies than other CUs, or other CC issuers period?

Several of you have raved about the fact that when you've applied for a CC from them, they routinely offered to throw in a car loan, or even a HELOC from time to time.

Is that what makes them a standout to many of you?

My EQ score is 60 points below my TU score, and 100+ points below my EX score, so I'm not going to apply to them for a CC just yet, but thanks to all of you for the very educational posts on this thread.

I applied to them b/c I wanted a double the interest rate than TCF was giving me.
