Has anybody been successful in receiving information from US Bank about the Altitude Web Visa secured card? I tried calling them to ask, the lady told me I was forwarded to the wrong department (It was the credit card department) then tried to "transfer" me to the right department and hung up on me. Put a bad taste in my mouth as it was the first customer service experience I had with them. I emailed them through Online Banking and they said they would forward the question over to the relevant department and would get back in touch within a couple days, that was two weeks ago now and I'm not holding my breath for a response.
It seems like when I asked them about the card though, they were confused as to what the card even was, so I'm not sure how knowledgeable the service reps are with the product. If anybody has any type of info on it, could you pass it along? Thanks.

US Bank only has one secured card, and on their website it's referred to as US Bank Visa Card.
The process is same as any other secured card, you apply, fund the account upon approval, then wait to graduate.
Once it does, it's possible to PC to other US Bank cards, such as Cash+
US Bank hasn't officially named it "Altitude secured card', so they might be getting confused because of terminology you're using.
This is the card you're referring to

I concur with Remedios. You are skewering the card name to the point that it is hard to impossible to understand which card you are referring to. US Bank has 1 Secured card and 2 Altitude level cards with both categories not having any overlap.
The Secured Card:
US Bank Secured Visa
The Altitude Card:
US Bank Altitude Go Visa Signature
US Bank Altitude Reserve Visa Infinite
Why not figure out what card you are trying to get info on from the list.

Actually, the letter I received from US Bank about my denial, said exactly "We would like to take this opprtunity to tell you about the Altitude Web Visa secured credit card account. It's a powerful tool that combines a credit card and a savings account. With a Secureed Visa account, you establish the credit limit and earn interest on the security deposit. For more information, please contact your financial institution and request an application."
This sounds a little bit different from the one it shows online, so I figured I'd ask online since this letter named the "Altitude Web Visa Secured" account, which is named different than on the website. So no, I'm not skewering the name, simply repeating and asking about a card US Bank is recommending on a denial letter.

Okay. Let us know once you find out the details. I would like to know what you find out.

Yeah I was curious about this too when @Revelate mentioned it here - https://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Credit-Card-Applications/USBank-AR-Denial/m-p/6065767/highlight/tru...
Unfortunately there is literally nothing about it online.
I wonder if they were considering rebranding the existing secured card, and it somehow made it to the denial letters but was never communicated to staff? I say "considering" since they just changed the design of the card along with a few others, so it would seem unlikely that they would change it again so quickly.
Maybe all of US Bank cards will be adopting an "Altitude".
The secured card may be the "Low Altitude" version.
A US Bank manager told me that the Altitude Secured Visa card is targeted mainly to people who have been denied for a Altitude Visa card for certain reasons. The terms are pretty much the same as the unsecured version.

Does it graduate to a regular Altitude once it achieves enough velocity?
