I opened an Amazon account in August to take advantage of a 6 month no interest offer to by my MAC. The initial credit limit was $2,200 with an interest rate of 24.99%. I was running out of time to pay the balance off before they charged me interest going back to the original purchase date, so I balance transferred the remaing balance to my Citi card with no interest for 22 months and was rewarded with a 100% credit limit increase to $4,400 on my Amazon card. I was going to close the account but, I think I'll keep it now!
Congrats! Great CLI and new limit for a GE Amazon store card, wowzers!!
(mine is apparently stuck just under 3k, can't complain really becuz started at 400--has come a long way...was just hoping to get it up to around 5k eventually)
They must be in a generous mood. I logged on yesterday to make a payment, and they doubled my credit limit as well, from $850 to $1700. Mine has been open since about September. Initial line was $600, hit the luv button around January and it went to $850. I have only used it for a few Christmas gifts to take advantage of the 0% promotion.

Saw your post, and went online and checked my Amazon account, and saw they gave me $1000 CLI now I have a CL of $2200, that along with my new Chase freedom card this week, when my CR are updated, I will be below 10% perhaps I will see a score alert myfico EQ score has been stuck at 645 for several weeks. My TU score is either 685 or 715 depending on which version they pull.
Now I just need to figure out something to buy and choose which to use, my Chase Freedom has 5% cash back at amazon for the rest of the month and 6 months 0% interest or Amazon card has deals for 6-12-18 months no interest....
