Correction lol. DOes anyone know if they do CLI options once it converts to store card?
Hey Guys,
I'm a newbie here and wanted to share my experience with the Amazon Credit Builder card. A couple months ago I applied for the regular Amazon store card but was denied. I then found out about the Amazon Credit builder card on YouTube and figured I would try once more. First thing I noticed it was difficult just finding the application. I had to click the link from YouTube just to get it. Anyway the application process was easy and I was approved right away. (Heads up ) I read some comments on the website that people were getting denied even after receiving an invite. They also said they received 2 hard pulls but I only received 1 hard pull. ( TransUnion ) I do have recent inquiries but everything is current and no collections. However the comments were mixed with what credit score range Amazon is looking for but I saw comments from those who were in the mid 500... (I say give it a shot). Once my application was complete they offered me a range of 100 to 1000 security deposit and then you input your banking information and they respond with 5-7 days you will get your card or you can use the card immediately once your deposit clear. ( I'm sorry I'm soo long winded 😬.. for those that are interested listed below are my fico 8 and fico 9 scores..
Good Luck all and Happy Approvals for everyone 🥰
Fico 8 -
TransUnion---693
Equifax--648
Experian --675
Fico - 9
Equifax --703
Experian - 683
Transunion - 688
Happy Approvals for everyone 🥰
In the first 12 months, Will my credit line increase at all? I chose to only deposit $200.

No; your credit line will only increase if you choose to add more money to your initial deposit.
So I applied for the secured version and had both TransUnion n Equifax frozen . They pulled Experian it came back a verification problem so I called them gave me a link to take a picture of me n I'd did it n said it failed. Called back lady said back office has to manually review it is this a denial
Greeting Darrin73 . . . No, I don't think it's a denial . . . just that they need the review time.
Offer for the Secured Amazon card popped up at the top of my Amazon account today.
Maximum possible credit line $1500.
Applied, was accepted for a max of $750.
Pulled TU, my score is 609.
Have had Synchrony cards charged off (five or six years ago), so apparently they are not as unforgiving as they used to be.

I had to go through the verification website and I failed because I couldn't get a clear picture of the barcode on the back of my license. I tried going to the verification website again but it said I was blocked. There was a number to call and a very helpful woman unblocked the link and even stayed on the phone giving me tips to make sure the pictures were readable. On the second time, everything passed and it was approved.
Try going through the syf.verify site again and see if you can get the blocked error message with the phone number. Call them and ask them to unblock it and try again. When you take the picture, make sure there is a plain unlit background behind you... as weird as it sounds, the bathroom worked best for me because the ample light and plain whit walls!
word of warning that they're very stingy with the cli on this. after a year with all requests denied they were finally able to increase my credit limit from $100 to a whopping ... $300. bearing in mind most of my credit limits are 3000+, including one that is 10k and my score is now 690-700 fico and 730+ vantage (i think sometimes sync uses vantage for some reason?)
kinda wish i'd skipped this card lol.
oh and only a couple months earlier they gave me a venmo card with a 7k limit. so there's that!
