After logging in, mine says 4%. That's a random number..... I was a prime member last year, but cancelled.
I'm a Prime Member and the new Prime Fresh Grocery Delivery.
My partner uses the account for work too... We spend thousands a month... this would be amazing for us!!

No old Citi Forward card which does the same thing?
Strange, when i'm logged into my account I have a zero % cash back, just the financing offers.
I spend 200-300 a month on Amazon through different goods and subcribe and save, I also make a bit of large puchases though Amazon, probably a total of 4-5k a year. I also have the Amazon Chase Visa, 5% would trump that... weird offer, someone want to call?

I'm chatting now... Tried twice last night, don't think this guy is going to offer me anymore either... they all seem to think I'm confusing the 0% promotions of what are available on the card.

If you just do 4-5K a year, the Sallie Mae card will cover that and give you 5%
Okay, just got off the phone and she said it was a promo being offered to some accounts... When I told her I saw the offer for someone that didn't currently have an account, she told me I would need to go into my account to apply and see if I had the offer.
I said I don't have the offer
and she said maybe it's randomly computer selected who gets the offer.
Well at least she actually knew what I was talking about but "random computer selection" I'm not so happy about.... Hopefully we see more of this to come and they roll it out to all... it would make them arguably one of the best store cards on the market!

but for me it shows 5%.
Maybe they're trying to compete with Sallie Mae. I just went to www.amazon.com/storecard and it's right there:

Edit: I'm logged into my account while checking, it doesn't show when logged out. Also, perhaps incidental - I'm a Prime member.
As a logged in Prime member, I see it with 3% rather than 5%, so it's obviously targetted based on some unknown factor. What is your Amazon spend like per year?
My spend isn't extraordinary - probably $2k - 3600 per year. However, some months much less. Very consistent with buying every month though.
Isn't Amazon a GE card? Because I have some soft pulls from GE, meaning maybe they've been vetting FICOs?
I just received am email 5 minutes ago...says I was selected for 5% statement credit or special financing. Prime member here and averaged 64 orders per year for last 3 years.

Same here....
