Best guess until someone else chimes in on an experience like the above is they probably wouldn't touch your current accounts but bet that any future considerations like CLIs and applications would be under closer scrutiny.
I had a Best Buy MC from HSBC w/ small $500 CL, then it went to Cap One who doubled the CL to $1k when I called and asked. Then it went to Citi, who I don't think would ever had approved me for the card as I included over $21K in Citi CCs in my 2010 BK7. Citi doubled the CL to $2k when I app'd and took the HP. I closed it as it had a $59 annual fee fron HSBC that Citi wouldn't budge on removing and I got tired of paying it.

I am going to waite to end of year before I go head and apply for a Amex card. I want 2 hard pulls to come off my reports, and I want to pay down my Wellsfargo card from 2k down to no balance.
You cant go by pre quals. Also, many folks got back in with Amex and Chase after burning them. 20 years is a looong time. Depending on the amount burned you should be able to get back in with them if your credit is good and you have low utilization.
