If everything works as it should, I might give it a try with my other card as well, since TPG reports that it can be used once per card (not once per online account).
We'll see how it goes!
It's also once per card per retailer, so you can get some money from other sites too. There are some tickets available on Ticketmaster for a $1 donation. I may or may not have donated $2 yesterday after getting some Hulu gift cards from Newegg last week.
That's not working any longer as of today

Just tried it with 1 Amex card a .40 game code for a game I don't even have.. See if it works
... So I can also do it on my other two amex's as well? I will take 30 free dollars for 1.20$ spent
I like free money. Buying $10 for $0.40 sounds good to me.

Interesting. I haven't had a chance to read everything yet this morning, so thanks for the heads up. Meaning that they updated the terms on the offer to be once total per card or does it have to be a $10 purchase to get the $10 back?

According to what I read on millionmiles, those charity items were limited availability. I checked very early this morning when I first read about it and they were gone (didn't even show up)

I ended up going to the particular venue/ticket listing where I made those purchases yesterday and there were still tickets available. However, it looks like Ticketmaster and Amex scrambled and they remove the Amex Checkout link on the item. They probably just set it up to hide the Amex Checkout button when the purchase price is less than $10. That was probably easier than relying on updated terms and arguing with people when they didn't get the credit.
Good info.... thanx.
