Amex $10 statement credit when using American Express Checkout

Can anyone confirm if they got the credit with an authorized user card and if so does the authorized user need their own online account? My girlfriend is an AU on my account so I'll use her card too if I can.

I'm jealous... the only $5 donation ticket I was able to find on TicketMaster had Amex Checkout disabled... only 'Visa Checkout' (or whatever it's called) was available, in addition to manually entering the card, of course.

Still haven't received my credit yetm but the purchase went through on Tuesday, and has already posted to my account.  I know AMEX hates me lol.

Yes you'll get the credit for an AU but they do need their own online account as that's the only way Amex knows it's two different people using the card and you have to into your account before processing the checkout

Everything worked out well, and a good charity even got in on the fun!

As a data-point, I'll mention that when I made my purchases, I got the "Thanks for using American Express checkout for the first time" email from Amex again, for each card.  This is a little strange since I already used Amex Checkout for two Newegg purchases (which also sent me the 'thanks' email).  Perhaps it is thanking me for using Amex Checkout with TicketMaster for the first time?

Oh well, as long as I get my account credit, they can send all the emails they want... LOL

Same thing. Even though I have got my credits from NewEgg when I made the TicketMaster purchase I got separate emails for each card I used. Was a bit strange to see the emails but who cares as long as you get a credit.
