Amex 3x CLI timing question

I was approved for a BCE on 1/12. If my figures are right then I can request it on 3/14. Am I correct in this?

If that is 61+ days, you can.

I waited until Day 64 just to be absolutely certain and give myself a little cushion.  IMO, what's a few extra days to ensure you're good to go, you know?

I'll probably wait a bit longer too. Just trying to figure the date out so I won't goof and ask too early by mistake.

I requested mine on the 61st day with no problem.

I don't think the clock resets if you try too early (someone please confirm this).

I can't say for sure on the 61 day one but, on the 181 day it doesn't reset if you hit it too early.

the 61 day clock does not reset if you apply early. Also, just call or use Amex chat; their CSR should be able to tell the exact date of when you can try for CLI

A friend waited 77 days to ask for 3X. He is building credit and his score was going up.

He waited until the new score reported on Amex site. 1K->3K no problem.

The only thing about this is that the new limit will not report for 3 more weeks.

I'd give it an extra day or two just to be on the safe side.
