I've just noticed that about three months ago I got an "Amex Account F/R" soft pull on my credit profile. Do many other Amex card holders get this...I see them running back on my file to 2005? I've been a card holder since late 2004. Interesting....
F/R or A/R any creditor can and does run and AR - account review- soft on your credit file. NEver heard of an F/R soft. I have heard many people say that just before the dreaded F/R they see AR softs but more than likely Amex's AR softs are generated by triggers. Did a balance suddenly go up? Did you open a new account around this time? Those are just two of the things that will generate Amex to do a soft on you not just the dreaded F/R

I see soft pulls when I get my reports straight from the CRA (e.g. Experian and Equifax are the ones I request full reports from directly). You won't see soft pulls vis-a-vi Truecedit.com, creditsecure, or the other 3rd party ones.
