In the two cases you show above, the Delta weebsite offer is certainly better. Even in my own Amex account, I'm being offered this and I already have 3 Delta cards:

Thanks for advice. I'll definitely keep checking! On a related note, I did also see an offer for Amex Gold Charge Card for 50,000 points for spending $2,000. Is that a decent offer?
For 50k on the PRG, I would take it, it's double what I had and pretty much the best they give you on that particular card.
Delta Gold card not the same thing as PRG / AMEX Gold.
