Amex Gold Rewards

I just apped for Amex Premier Rewards and got it! They even expedited delivery of my card

thru UPS free the website said, it was an auto approval. My scores for EX are 710 roughly.

My reasoning is I want a card that will stand behind me in disputes. I am sick of losing disputes

for crap merchandise or service. I have heard Amex is good about disputes.

Does anyone know if I should charge all my monthly expenses and PIF, or use the card once in a while?

The website says the limit adjusts with spending habits.

Should I give Discover the axe? The limit sucks and so does the rate, worried about my util, I have about 13k in balances.

Re: Amex Gold Rewards

In my experience Amex has been great with disputes, very quick and courteous.  The PR gold is a good card and I wouldn't recommend against using it as a primary card.

Re: Amex Gold Rewards

You might as well make it your primary spending card and pif each month. Why else would you pay $175 annual fee for a card you barely use? It isn't worth it unless you are spending lots on it and racking up MR points

Re: Amex Gold Rewards

yeah there right i guess use it for a year as your primary or what ever then make your decision because since we just opened our cards we get no annual fee for a year.
