Amex Instant Issue Credit Card Number

I don't have one yet, but a couple of others I know do, and it wasn't offered. I guess ymmv on this.

I have opened 4 and never received an instant number to use. 3 of them were instant approvals.

That is so weird that some get the instant account number to use and some don't.  I wonder what they look at to determine who gets it and who does not get it.

I got it for AMEX plat. But it's only a temp and it doesn't work for some online purchase. Kinda useless in my opinion. 

Is is it true that you have 35 cards with a total of 29k limit? Wow. Keep gardening!
