Amex P.O.T. interest free for 6 months

Yesterday I was checking my Gold card and at the top of the page it was mention that there was a promotion for pay over time, I clicked and say that it had to be accepted by next month and would lock in 6 billing cycles of interest free pay over time. Also on my non charge card I have Plan it without a fee. Is this likely a targeted offer, or have others been recieving these deals as well?

Just accepted a POT offer for 11.99% APR yesterday till OCT 19. So no interest free for me. I signed up tho I’m not planning on using it but it’s there just in case of emergency. If in need tho I may be better off with a personal loan with Amex. Pre approved @ 6.98%.

These must be targeted, because I've never seen a POT promo offer on my Gold, or now Platinum cards.
