Amex Update!

I also noticed that the CM doesn't show up for me in my normal browser. I was approved for it a couple weeks ago, and have it in my wallet now.

My BCE does show up, though, with the button that says: "Add Another User"

I had the BCE on steps with a $500 initial SL. Got PRG at the same time. Hilton and Delta were later with pre approvals. I had read that subsequent cards had a higher limit but was given $1k on each. Prior to completing steps I was denied a 61 day CLI. Once I completed steps the 3x CLI was approved.

In a month and a half or two months I plan to add Platinum and EDC (both pre-approvals). I'm only adding quickly because Amex has shown that they are comfortable with me now and I will be in the garden for a mortgage for 20ish months after those cards. DPs suggest that once you get a CLI new cards will come with better initial SLs.

I only have one business card with amex so not sure if that varies on what the preapproval messages show. I looked under my account and it doesn't save preapproved but it does say "Get a decision in less than 30 seconds, Frank" under the blue business plus. Looks like the other cards show the expanding your membership is easy part. 

I want to get a personal amex but might stick to the business ones for now. Hope that helps others that are looking around.

Awesome!! Thank you!! I don't think I'm on the steps, but I was denied my 61 day CLI request. Waiting on my 180th day to request my 3x CLI, while I aggressively attack my UTL. Want my scores to have some improvement before I try requesting a CLI again.

Thanks what I figured but amex denied me for the Platinum a few weeks ago.

Right, and since the denial was less than ~30 days ago it makes sense to wait.

There isn't a steps program for the cobranded cards. Improve your profile, raise your scores, and they'll open up.

Yea I know. What I meant was I was wondering if anyone had a timeline and then you put yours so thank you. Thats what I meant lol
