Amex question

Just received my new Amex ED card. What a cool looking card it is.

I activated it through a cs rep. I asked about a cli upon activation. He told me it's a hard pull. I know that sometimes the cs reps are misinformed. So is it a hp or not?

No, it's an SP.  If you're denied you have to wait 90 days to try again.

Re: Amex question

Definitely a SP, just a 90 day wait if youre not succesful. If you are, its 180 days.

If you're going to do it, do it online but you need to consider your chances of approval before trying

50/50.  They've been cracking down on CLIs lately.  It's entirely up to you whether you try or not and are willing to wait 90 days to try again if declined.
