Amex still not reporting?

Re: Amex still not reporting?

Mine were opened right around the same time in May, probably a few day's later, and none are reporting yet. But I do see my 60K miles added to both my Amex Delta PLAT account and on Delta's website. This was about 3 day's after reaching the 2K spend requirement. You want to hear something incredible too: when I appd the Delta PLAT card I immediately booked a flight to take advantage of the additional 100.00 statement credit. My flight was just over 700.00 and I booked first class. So I'm at the gate, all checked in, and the Delta customer rep announces they are over booked, looking for a volunteer or two, will offer a 400.00 credit to fly out on the next flight, 3 hour's later. So I go up and volunteer, she books me in the same first class seat, and says I'll come see you after I'm done boarding this flight. So she comes over and says "here I got you 600.00 credit for a future flight". I was so stoked. $600.00 to wait 3 hrs for the next flight. Well as if that's not good enough, I check my Amex account, and they gave me miles on the 600.00 credit and it went towards my spend requirement. I couldn't believe it. What a bonus. They treated this 600.00 credit as if I spent 600.00 with Delta. Awesome.

Re: Amex still not reporting?

My Delta reported on May 17, then on June 24, so a 7 day lag. No other missed periods.

The Hilton card was new, reported on May 20 and has not reported again, so is seeing a 14 day lag so far.

For those with no report, if the statement balance does not change, or changes only a small amount, it won't be able to report a difference on EX or EQ, and the balance difference might not be noticed on TU unless you do a detailed tracking like mine. Even that requires backtracking for such small balance changes to get them identified.

For those saying you did not get a reported amount, I think you need to list out the amounts you expected to report on each month statement, for April, May and June, to provide some perspective about this possibility.

Edit: I take that back, my Hilton card reported on May 20 as $487, and then recently (late June) as $501, because the $501 is now in my TU balance. It is not called out by EX or EQ however, which is what makes it hard for me to find the exact day TU picked it up. No missed reports, though.

Edit 2: My Hilton card reported as part of TU balance changes on June 23, so only a 3 day lag from the May timng. $487 to $501 is not enough to trigger EX or EQ. Capital One went from $141 to $0 as part of the same TU balance change on June 23, no EX or EQ for that one either.

Ya was my thread.. They finally reported my May,  but not June payments.. So only one month behind now.. Still behind though!  Not sure what is up with them, usually they report 2-3 days after statement cut.

Have no clue what is taking Amex so long to report these days for.. Called their Credit Reporting center and they said they reported, yet they didn't..  They basically said all is normal, which clearly it isn't with them for whatever reason.

Is there a best path to get this corrected?  I am seeing this with Amex, Wells, and Chase.

Mine are also doing the same thing.  Also with more than just Amex.  Some going for 2/3 months and I use the cards.  Some I'm talking thousands.  Seems a little weird to me.  We work hard to keep everything perfect the least they can do is report it!    I've also noticed EQ started reporting about half of my cc's with many, many payments as N/R.  And this is 100% not true!  I did file a dispute and am ready to contact the CFPB on this.  Looks like I'm not using some cards for over a year!

Wow that's lucky! I hope I can get some of that luck on a trip I'm taking in a few weeks, since getting bumped to the later flight would actually be preferable schedule-wise than the one I have booked.

Re: Amex still not reporting?

You know it's crazy. I fly back and forth between Minneapolis, MN and Newark, NJ. They constantly overbooked these flights, be it Delta or United. Every trip there's multiple stand bys waiting to get on and they are constantly asking for volunteers. I've actually been credited several times, but this was the first time since I got my Amex Delta PLAT card. I'm telling you, you could probably make a living off of comps if you flew back and forth weekly. Crazy. I guess it's a busy route or something. Planes are always full. Best of luck.

Yeah, screwy on mine too. Like clockwork shows up on EQ the day after the statement closes, in my case on the 26th. No report yet for June. Called them and they said it had been reported on the 30th (so 4 days late, if I believe they reported), but takes up to 5 days to show up. Yeah, right. Never the case before.

As if that's not enough, CapOne changed my closing date with no notice (from the 11th to the 2nd), so a balance posted, despite a scheduled payment for the 9th! Buggers... And I was getting everything cleared for some CLI requests. I PIF every month, and these two balances make me PO'd! There better not be a 3rd screw up. Thank goodness my Amex 3X CLI went through today without a problem.

Re: Amex still not reporting?

I am in the same situation with my Amex card. The last time they reported anything was in early May. Nothing since. I know I havent had any balances report in a while so maybe that has something to do with it? I am leaving a balance this time just to see. I hope that changes when my next statement cuts on the 24th.

Was the last report, in May, that the AMEX card went to zero balance?

Re: Amex still not reporting?

Ok, correction. The last report date from my Amex says May 25, right after statement cut, which was a zero balance. But it does not give me an *OK* for the month of May under payment histoey. Do I actually have to have to report a balance and make a payment to have the OK? The date of my last payment is also not even reported. So odd with Amex. June has not yet reported.

@jawbrkr wrote:

That is absolutely correct. My April statement reported a $50 balance. My May and June statements reported zero. Perhaps this is why??

^^This

is exactly why. There's no There there for EQ or EX to trigger a change. There's no change in balance to even see a TU change.

I think AMEX is reporting just fine. I think posters are not checking the details of their MyFICO alerts closely, and are getting "under the radar" situations that don't result in an EX or EQ notice, then they don't see the TU change as it slides on by (if there is a non-zero balance that is).
