It does not make sense. It sounds like you want to undo what Amex did when they moved credit limit from your ED to your new BCE. I doubt Amex will go along with that.
You should be able to move it back no problem. It would report on the next statement, though.

You can make one limit transfer every 30 days. One card must have 1,000 left over.
I was told that if I reallocate from Everyday to BCE I had to leave atleast a CL of $500 of the $2,000 CL. But customer service also said I could do a reconciliation of my credit line at any time. I've had both cards less than 90 days and I have seen on this board that you have to wait 13 months so I don't know what to believe. I'm going to wait 91 days from the newest card being opened and try the reallocation.
