this has to be the longest issuer website downage in recent history. it pays to pay in advance, i wonder how many had a due date and require access to meet it. bank bill pay is not immediate (at least for me) so there may be some who get stuck if this continues
Well,
that is a lame excuse.
You can call to pay!
I just called out of frustration because I made an online payment on Monday and it isn't showing on their system yet, according to the CSR. Luckily it isn't due until the 11th, but I watch my Delta card like a HAWK.
Of course she reminded me that it is a fee-free service to pay over the phone. I'll do that if for some reason this silly website issue goes on for days. She said they're upgrading the server. (CSR-speak for massive CLDS??? lol.)
Aye-aye-aye.... I miss my CS!

That's good to know, it seems to me not uncommon to be charged a fee for pay by phone. if the website is down when i want to make a payment, that would be one of the few instances i'd be willing to pay a fee to pay my bill!
no worries WhirledPeasPlease your CS awaits you

I swear fev -- that's what I was thinking!
Still not letting me in, stupid site.Do you ever get that thing where you can sign into the site no problem, but that bit under your balance where it shows your available credit is.... missing altogether? I've had that maybe two or three times in the past few months (for a period of a few hours at a time, and ALWAYS around statement closing time) and it always freaks me out - I always imagine that my CLD is being implemented right at that very second!Oh dear. Being an AmEx "cardmember" really isn't good for one's health.![]()
I agree...this is all way too nervewracking! I have to check several times a day just to be sure there's no CLD-----and now I'm worried about what they're up to since it's been down so long!
I've had the "missing limit" scare, too and almost fainted when I saw it and then hated myself for letting a credit card company.........a credit card company for gosh sakes......control me like that!!
Anyway, they're still down so guess we'll see what's up when they're back!!
It was down for me earlier today, but I was able to log in just fine around 10:30 am this morning.
