Ok, I know that purchasing the CC insurance is not a good deal, but will this act as a stop gap from rate jacks if you happen to be carry a high balance. I was just wondering.

CC insurance is only a good deal if you do not carry a balance. Of course if you do not carry a balance it is useless.
