It's the only store card on my file(if that matters)
It's 500 from Sears , which, from what I've read is a HP for a CLI?
Opened just a few months back.
I have 8 total cards active.
Not worried about util drop, I just got a cli on discover for 3k and I don't see myself ever getting above 25% again.
Morrso just wondering if the store card on file helps with diversity.
Just close it if you want. Doesn't seem like it will hurt you closing it. Other option is just to leave it in sock drawer for future sears spend. I don't think it is helping much (it is more about if it has a use to you).

Doesn't have any use, I just don't like it showing on my active report lol. Would any lender care that I have a low limit card?
Doubtful, but I get why it would bother you. If you don't want it then go ahead and close it. In the longrun its going to make no difference, since it stays on your report for years before dropping off.

Since (a) it's new, and closing it won't hurt your AAofA, and (b) you don't care about the utilization, I say close it.
