Apple Card Customer Assistance Program - Automatic enrollment?

I just received an email from GS that I have been enrolled in their Customer Assistance Program, however, I didn't request to be enrolled in the program. My March statement balance has already been PIF. Could GS be automatically enrolling Apple Card holders into the program? Has anyone else had this experience?

I haven't gotten the email yet but it's possible. I remember some people on Reddit saying they got automatically pushed out to May 31 in the wallet app.

Re: Apple Card Customer Assistance Program - Automatic enrollment?

I think GS and/or the part of Apple that deals with Apple Cards is melting in the era of low staff/high customer request volume.

I have had my Apple Card since December. It is in my Apple Wallet. I have used it a number of times there. I have, in past months, done a chat to request a CLI (denied, but smooth process). Last week, I went in chat to ask about a CLI, and was told that I have no Apple Card associated with my Apple ID. The CSR in chat couldn't fix it and wanted me to call somebody. I decided not to, and tried again yesterday. I got the same message, no Apple Card associated with my Apple ID. I went in the Apple Wallet app, opened the card, and from the card, tapped the Chat icon. It opened the very same chat on my phone (the prior texts were there), but this time, it connected me to GS right away, and I was able to request a CLI the same as before. (Also denied same as before.)

Sorry for the semi-related anecdote, but, I wouldn't expect any of their processes to work as smoothly as usual, or even in a logical fashion, right now.

Re: Apple Card Customer Assistance Program - Automatic enrollment?

My Apple Card statement just cut and sure enough, there is a $0 minimum payment due on a $38 balance for April. I'll still PIF the $38 balance but I might as well share this DP.
