I will be 4/24 sometime in June and intend to apply for the Chase World of Hyatt as soon as I can. I also want the Elan Max Cash Preferred and, ideally, would like to apply for it at the same time. Would there be any issue with applying for both cards on the same day assuming high credit scores, few /12 new cards, etc.? Would there be anything sketchy for Chase given I would be at 5/24 after the WoH application and would, potentially, be applying for another card right after? I have applied for two cards on the same day in the past, but I am just wondering if there is anything specific that I should be concerned about in doing so with these two particular issuers. Thank you (hopefully) for the replies.

What is your x/6 and x/12 for new personal credit cards, @cws-21? I believe Elan is more sensitive to those recent metrics.
Do you currently have other Chase cards or a banking relationship? How long?
Chase has been known to do account reviews after new cards to see what you've been up to. If you're saying that you'd apply for WoH while under 5/24 but on the same day apply for Elan, Chase will just see two applications on the same date. And they won't care that you technically applied for Elan second, IMO. So they may rescind the WoH based on exceeding 5/24. If you really want the WoH, I would apply for it first by at least a few days if not a few months. Then go for the Elan. Chase doesn't like sprees.
(Full disclosure. Do as I say, not as I do: I just applied same day for AMEX Hilton Surpass and Chase IHG Rewards Premier with approval on both. I'm holding my breath for no adverse action. And this was less than 45 days from a Chase INK Business Unlimited approval. Previously, I allowed three months of gardening prior to a Chase application and I still suggest that as the wiser move. I also noted in my IHG approval that Chase reallocated existing credit from other cards and gave me an APR higher than the advertised range, so I wonder if my other recent activity had anything to do with that. I had some special SUBs I was trying to qualify before expiration and also knew the AMEX approval would likely be a SP, which it was, and the new account would take a little time to post.)

Thanks for the reply, @Aim_High. I will be 0/6 and 1/12 by the time that I apply for the Chase World of Hyatt. I had a Chase Amazon Prime (my only Chase card ever) at one point, but I closed it January of 2022. I understand your recommendation for not applying on the same day, as Chase may not know which card I applied for first, but surely the order of applications would be obvious if I applied for the Max Cash Preferred the next day, correct? This is all with the understand that it would likely be best if I were to separate applications by months. What was your /24 when you applied for the AMEX Hilton Surpass and Chase IHG Rewards Premier at the same time?

That should be good for MCP.
See my Chase IHG Approval for detailed inquiry and new account stats. It's complicated since there were business cards and soft pull AMEX approvals in the mix.
Yes, they "should" know if by just one day but if you are 0/6; 1/12, why rush the next app? Elan would likely still approve at 1/6; 2/12. They aren't quite as sensitive as US Bank. If nothing else, I would give it (at least) a week or so, not just a single day but that's just me. But three months would probably work just fine also.

I applied for the Citi Custom Cash and then the Elan Max Cash Preferred a day or so later, and got them both. But they pulled different bureaus, so until it reported they wouldn't have known I applied for the other card. No AA afterwards. I was 0/6 and 1/12.
This is a good resource for figuring out which bureau they'll pull:
