Hi everyone. I want to apply for two Barclay's cards towards the end of the year. Has anyone ever done this before? I know they are very tough about what happens "after" you apply for their cards. I know that they soft, etc.
DO you think they would take a major issue if I apply for a Priceline and Apples Card at the same exact time. I don't plan on having inquiries 6 months afterw applying. Are they still only pulling TU?
THanks and I hope this helps others too.
I have 2 cards from them with no any problems as of now. I think they like you to have many of their cards. Yes, I state correctly that they love you select them over other creditors. You just need to show them usage and PIF and utilization at any time on your credit report should be below 10%. I believe these are my practices which help me avoid getting AA from them even after tons and tons of inquiries, several new accounts after they approved me. I think there is no actual problem applying for 2 of their cards at same time except that they will give lower credit limit on both of cards. As always, YMMV.

Eventhough it's rare, they might pull EX.
I've wondered if the people that have issues with Barclay's are people that are not using their cards. I have no evidence to back this up, but I would guess as suggested above that Barclay's would view it differently if you got two of their cards and were actually using them, as opposed to getting one of their cards, not using it, and signing up for several other accounts. The latter looks more like a case of pyramiding than the former.
