I had just posted 3-4 days about getting a $1500 CLI to $3500 on my QS1, so I'm still on a bit of a high from that. Got another stroke of good luck tonight when I tried the product upgrade link again (been spamming it for a few months) and was offered an upgrade to a VentureOne. I don't necesssarily have a good usage case for the Venture One, but at least I got rid of the QS1's AF and I'm not closing it anytime soon (not far enough along in my rebuild and it's my highest limit card).

Congrats on getting rid of that fee. Give it another 6 months and you'll likely be able to PC that V1 to the regular no-fee QS.

Just want to reiterate on this. If the V1 doesn't suit you (it didn't suit me either which is why I have two QS cards) then feel free to PC it again in 6 months. At that point you should be able to make it a no fee QS if desired.
