Watch out guys, we have a baller over here
I will try it Sunday then. Discover is my only card unchipped now except for Best Buy.
LOL.
Can't hurt to try, right?
Do you actually have a lot of places that use the chip?
I don' think i have any place I could use one... maybe at cvs i suppose, if i wanted to take longer to checkout.
Walmart
Yes.
I don't shop at Walmart or CVS. Do you know of other stores? Also, Discover isn't widely used in Europe, right?
Thank you for the post.

From my understanding everything in the US will be Chip N Sig for a while until all the new terminals get put in. We are way behind Europe in this regard.
😜. ..10+ years !
Wish these Chip & Sig cards had an option to add a pin for International reasons.

Theoretically, couldn't you just use your cash advance pin?
@Berk wrote:Discover is way behind. My Citi and Amex cards have been EMVs for a while.
Discover needs to to hurry up with Apple Pay too.
Discover does support at least one mobile payment platform though - Google Wallet. About a week before the launch of Apple Pay, a message to add my card to my Google Wallet popped up in my Discover account. I did. Works beautifully. Google Wallet and Apple Pay works differently in that Google Wallet does not require verification from the banks since you put the verification info in yourself (like the 3 digit code, etc.), and as such any card works with Google Wallet. Apple, on the other hand, needs to make a deal with your bank before your card can be added to Apple Pay - which probably includes some kickbacks for Apple that Discover may be unwilling to pay at the moment.
