Okay, so since the program merged its no long starpoints but its marriott points? From what the TPG valued, its at 0.9c. And the devaulation, so I'm not sure if I'm going to get the SPG anymore, feel like its still in beta. I might just get it for the free night every year but even before that I never seen it offered that.

TPG valuations are almost exclusively based on direct transfer to airline partners for premium cabin airfare. I would personally have to try really hard to find hotel redemptions that have that little value. The actual name is “Points” until sometime next year.

Wow, saw 35000 points hotels worth about $300-400+, its a no brainer to keep the card, but yeah earning on this card is gonna take a while, I would buy points if on sale lol.

I finally had the points from my SPG card August statement deposited into my account today. I did all of the math over again, and I definitely have the correct amount of points, and I also still have Platinum Elite status.

Same here.  Checked this morning and my missing points have finally arrived.  Old SPG number still shows with Amex but the point have indeed added.  I too did the math just to make sure that all came over correctly and it appears to be in order.

I got my personal points but my business points are still missing.  I chatted with them earlier in the week and they didn't have my SPG number on business. I told them my Marriott number and my SPG number and they said they would add my SPG number but my Marriott number is showing on the account.  So still 22k points short.

My statement closed the 20th and I am still waiting for my August points. My old SPG number still shows with AMEX. I chatted with someone from AMEX online this morning and they said to wait another 24-48 hours. I'm hoping they post soon.
