So I used to have accounts with discover and capital one. Those have been charged off and actually have judgments against me now.
However, I am an authorized user on family members' accounts for both of these companies.
I'm in the process of trying to settle these judgments, and just want to be sure that there's no implications for the owners of the accounts that I'm an AU on. Make sense?
I appreciate any input.

Your credit history as an Authorized User has no affect on the Primary Cardholder's credit score/history. The only way the primary cardholder could be affected is if you, as an AU, abused the card by racking up a huge bill that you/Primary could not pay.
It's possible that Disco or Cap1 would remove you as an AU due to the loss you've caused them, but that should be the only way that your charge-offs, in and of themselves, would affect your family members' cards.
Okay, thank you both for the response. 👍
