Automatic CLI...but didn't get it. VERY weird. HELP!

I just got an email that my Amazon Prime store card has just had it's credit limit increased to $3,000. My original limit was $700, never got increased until last month when I called credit solutions and they increased it to $5,000. I never had any automatic increases. Today I just got an email that they have automatically increased my limit to $3,000. That would be great, but I'm already at $5,000. So I thought maybe they increased my limit from the $5,000? Checked my account and it's still at $5,000. What should I do? Is there anything I can even do?

This is common with synch bank. they send these emails out several weeks after you have already gotten the CLI. I would just disregard it as your account is in the standing you want it to be right now and theres no issue. Its just a goof up on their end.

Oh ok. Well that stinks! I got really excited that they would up my limit! I have it over half full due to buying my first expensive camera and was hoping that this was true as it would knock my utilization down a bit. Oh well. LOL

I just got an email saying they increased my Amazon Prime card to $1000 but they did that a month ago. Maybe the emails are delayed. I would assume that maybe you were going to get the automatic increase to $3000 but since you called in they gave you more.

^^^^ This is what I'm thinking as well.

In any case, congrats on the CLI!  Smiley Very Happy

OP dont feel bad. I got an increase from Credit Solutions on my Amazon 3 weeks ago. Yesterday I got an email from them with congratulations in the subject. I realized that was old news.

These aren't delayed emails... There's a ton of people that aren't as up-to-date as we are on our credit health... Why do you think late fees are still around? CC companies make a killing off people that don't visit their website on a regular basis!!

Ok so if they aren't delayed emails then what are they?

Every time I've gotten an auto-cli, the email came two weeks later. They were also from different companies. I visit almost every website or app for all my cards almost every day, most don't except when it's time to pay. I'm on top of my cards, many others are not. Btw, when I hit the luv button, I get the email almost immediately.
