BOF secure go or dont?

Hello, everyone! Hows it going?
Sooo.. i had apply for a BOA card, and off course they senied me, BUT! They aprove me for a secure card (ill put the limit anywhere from 300 to X) now i would like to be part of the BOA fam, but i dont know if is a right move. I do have 8 major cc, 5 with capital one, sams mastercard, dsw visa, barclay apple reward. And over 20 store card. Apparently major cc dont approve me due to my inquery. Over 30 in 2 months. What should i do? I want to build a strong profile and hopping that one day amex will approve me 😊

Any advice 😦

Nothing, that's exact what you should do. Seat and let the cards you got age, and the pulls get old and see your credit history grow and score go up. Enjoy responsible your actual credit and Garden, go there it's fun.

Thank you so much! It is pretty temting to be honest with you, but you do make sence. I will try my best not to apply for anything else. I will take a deeper look at the garden forum.

I agree. Let your accounts age. Let your inquiries age. Pay in full or over the minimum every month, on time. I'd stop applying for a while. That's a lot, especially in such a short period of time.

Although, if you already applied and if they're using the same inquiry, then I'd take it. It's not like you'll get the inquiry back for being denied an unsecured. Might as well benefit from the inquiry. But that's IF they're using the same inquiry for the secured. I'm not sure if that's how they'll handle it.

The 5hing its that i had mess up my credit when i was about 20, 9 years later my credit got alot better (lexington law) has a lot to do with it as well, and so i went crazy applaying. Getting approve and denied. But i only apply for store credit to build history, im planning on using no more then 40 monthly on each retail accound. My prority are major cards or at least retail with the V or M logo 😊

I would take it (I did). It'll get your foot in the door with BOA and I've heard you can get it unsecured after 5 months depending on your credit.

As the previous comment ares19 wonder, did they used the same inquiry for the secure of a new one?

They used the same inquiry for me, but I was offered the secured card immediately after being denied for one of their unsecured cards, and I took the offer right away.
