I agree. Let your accounts age. Let your inquiries age. Pay in full or over the minimum every month, on time. I'd stop applying for a while. That's a lot, especially in such a short period of time.
Although, if you already applied and if they're using the same inquiry, then I'd take it. It's not like you'll get the inquiry back for being denied an unsecured. Might as well benefit from the inquiry. But that's IF they're using the same inquiry for the secured. I'm not sure if that's how they'll handle it.
I would take it (I did). It'll get your foot in the door with BOA and I've heard you can get it unsecured after 5 months depending on your credit.

They used the same inquiry for me, but I was offered the secured card immediately after being denied for one of their unsecured cards, and I took the offer right away.
