Balance Transfer ?

I recently did a balance transfer. I made the minimal payment on my account before the balance transfer took place. So now on that account there is like an overpayment. Or an over availability of credit.  Will the credit card company refund that payment to me or what generally happens when this occur?

Re: Balance Transfer ?

Depends on card company, but more than likely if no purchases are made to reduce the overage in a reasonable amount of time.

Re: Balance Transfer ?

If your balance was subject to interest when your BT went through, you may still be required to pay interest for the time your balance was on your account before your BT went through. If this is the case, the negative balance will get eaten up by the interest charge.

Re: Balance Transfer ?

When that has happened with me, I just called CS and asked them to send me a check.  No biggie.
