Bank of America CLI

When would be the first time its suggested to ask for a CLI with BoA with a new account?

Thank you

Re: Bank of America CLI

Usually a 6 month waiting period is suggested, but I wouldn't request one until it's necessary (unless you call and they say it won't be a hard pull at 6 months).

Re: Bank of America CLI

I actually called after 3 months and heavy heavy use on my 1000 CL BofA card. They did a soft pull, asked why I needed the increase, and approved me for 5000 CL. I have a previous history with them as they are my home loan lender. Not sure if that made a difference. I am very happy with BofA. I just told them that I wanted to make it my go to card and keep my UTL down. She understood and it worked for me. Good luck with your future CLI's
