@neverrain wrote:Just used this option when buying a computer case at Newegg. Didn't think they would approve me but they did. My credit line is "at least $500" - my scores are in the low to mid 600s. No comment on the inquiry yet. I'll refresh USAA tomorrow and see what happens.
Can anyone explain experiences with this "at least" thing?
Checked today. There is in fact a hard inquiry posted to Experian from WebBank. Anyone successfully removed this lately?

That is great...thanks for the replied.

If so..how long have you had the account open?
How much do you spend annually to get a CL like that?
Thanks in advance......
TNTexan, mine was $4000 when I opened it last week. I bought a flight to London on United, a new PS3, and a new watch. I have 6 months no interest/no payments on each. I'm very excited
I can take my time paying it.
Also, it's very cool on airlines. There are options on US Airways, Swiss, Continental, United, and JetBlue. American doesn't have the option. Also, any site that allows Paypal for payment you can link your Bill Me Later to Paypal and do it that way as well. I was irritated at the hit on EQ, but you know what I think in the long run its a good deal.
You know it's funny, I called again today and asked a BML rep if "when applying for a BML account" is it a HP or SP and guess what I was told for the third time?
It would be a soft pull, WTH??????
How is this company so inaccurate/incosistant with their answers, I've read some members say they were softed and I've read members have been HP'd, what gives?
I was told by each rep that if a HP occurred due to a BML app, to call them and they will have it removed.
As good of a deal as BML sounds, if they can't get it right when they tell you if it's a HP or SP, it kind of scares me what other mistakes this company is capable of making.
I just don't know.

I'll call in a bit to see if I can get the pull removed.
I just called again for kicks and this rep said a hard pull. LOL!!!!! I said...Okay...I am very confused as I do not think BML knows the difference between a soft pull and a hard pull. I asked to get it removed as I was told by two reps that it was a soft. He said they don't remove them. He also asked his supervisor and he said no as well.
I guess I'm stuck with it. Ah well.
Same here. Just called and was told it is a hard pull. If someone does managed to get someone who says soft pull and gets it removed, get the person's name so we can all do it too.

How is it possible that I've called 3 times and 3 diff reps all told me soft, and if HP has occurred, to call and they will remove it, but then I read the recent replies here in this thread, and you all are getting complete different answers, I think BML needs to sit down and have a serious talk.
I'm just baffled.
I just calle again to talk to a supervisor (woman this time) and she said hard and then every transaction after that is soft (which I find is accurate). ![]()
