I recently received a change in terms notice from BoA mentioning that they were eliminating the flexible spending / NPSL feature on my BoA Cash Rewards WMC After logging into Credit Karma this morning, I also confirmed this because CK had changed the card status from "Flexible Spending Credit Card" to just "Credit Card". I was j/c, has this happened to anyone else on the forum as well, who have open BoA Cash Rewards VS or WMC cards?
I was also thinking of calling BoA and asking them for more info about the reasoning of why exactly they made the change, but also at the same time don't want to draw unwanted attention to my account, lest they try to cause some sort of AA...
I think my Cap One Visa Sig Venture & QS Visa Sig used to say flexible spending but they no longer. I also believe my Citi AA Plat Selec WC said it, too, and no longer as well so nothing on my CR reads flexible spending anymore....guess all the issuers are doing away with this feature....unless you have an Amex charge card or Chase Palladium or one of those extremely high tier cards
Features can come and go and it's unlikely BOA will provide you anything other than a canned response. But unless it was a feature you actually used, it's probably not a big deal. My BOA Cash Rewards has flexible spending (it's a Visa Signature) and I've never had a reason to use it.

mine changed too i will be calling
So I called BoA yesterday afternoon to inquire about the removal of the flex spend feature on my Cash Rewards card, and as predicted by some posters who helpfully provided their input, the reps' answers were largely canned. They tried transferring me to at least 2 different card divisions/departments, each of which tried to transfer me back to the previous one...lol. 2 reps mentioned that they didn't know exactly why the flex spend feature had been removed, and 1 rep said that he wasn't even familiar with the feature at all. Finally, I got transferred to a rep who said that the reason was, to the best of her knowledge and understanding, since my Cash Rewards card CL had gone up to a little over $11k, she speculated that BoA may have thought that because of the higher limit, I no longer had a need for the previous flexible spending feature. Of course, YMMV...may be interesting to know what kinds of responses other posters who tried calling in to BoA received as well...
My BoA World MC is reporting as credit card now - CL is $25,500.

FWIW - my arguably ugly-colored US Bank SKYPASS Visa Sig just opened last month and is reporting as a flexible spending card - which matches that I can't see a limit when I log into their website.
