I really hope this isn't resulting in HPs.  The fact that they haven't changed their verbiage when you hit the luv button gives me pause.  I really want to try for an increase, but not enough to incur a HP.  I've had my BBR since 2014 and my instant approval amount was $5000, but I then applied for the Fidelity Amex less than two months later (a mistake!) and they wouldn't approve me for that unless I moved some of my BBR CL to it because I didn't have enough of a credit history with them to justify issuing me more credit, so I moved $3500 and was left with $1500 on the BBR.  Long story short, the Fidelity Amex is long gone and I closed it not long after it was taken over by Elan and converted to Visa.  My BBR has been stuck at $1500 ever since.  Like most of the users on this forum, I use that card strategically for the quarterly bonuses only, but I'd still like to see a bit higher of a CL (I'd be happy to have it brought back to the original $5000!).  I'm not making any moves until I see what the results are for others.

So far so good regarding the soft pull action....my Transunion alerts are very fast, almost immediate (my last one was in January when I attempted to increase the BOA card and was denied because I hadn't waited 3 months since the previous increase).   Good luck to you when you finally decide to pull the trigger!

Thank you so much for that and your data points are encouraging!!Smiley Happy

Re: DoC reporting BoA to stop pulling HPs for CLI requests

None of my replies are going through and I when I go to retry it says I've been marked for spam :3 Don't know why!

**** Original Post****
No CLI luv button for me this morning.

My Cash Rewards card turned 6 months old this month, Premium Rewards turned 3 months old. All together I'm using 11-12k a month on them making multiple payments a month posting zero balance.

Going to call and do my best to get some love with the excuse of "well I use it a lot and my life would just be easier if I didn't have to make a payment everytime I sneeze!

Also hoping that since I'm in the universally adored platinum honored preferred club that they'll look more kindly to my request 0:-)

****Update****

Called in requested an increase from 3k to 12k on cash rewards, asked about if it would be a HP or SP was told HP.

Got the 12k! Then moved 5k to premium rewards for a total of 10k CL and left 7k on cash rewards.

It was a good morning, now hoping I asked for more!

Re: DoC reporting BoA to stop pulling HPs for CLI requests

So, no luv buttons for either of my BOA cards, but I did just get an increase on 3/23 from $600 to $2000 via a phone call that resulted in a TU hp, and then opened a Cash Rewards within 30 days of that hp (4/15).

Does this mean I can request another cli via a sp on (or after) 6/23 on my old BankAmericard, and another on 7/15 on my Cash Rewards card?

Thanks for the info guys! You're all great!

Congrats to all who got some luv from BOA. Didn't want the gravy train to run out on me so I requested mine as well.

Current line $10,000 asked for double they countered with $18,800.

Congrats! Nice CLI. You state that they counter offered. Was that a phone request?

You can hit the luv button again >today< and request another increase,  the 2nd increase will go to manual review.  You need to do it today as it will disappear overnight during their daily batch run.

Re: DoC reporting BoA to stop pulling HPs for CLI requests

Of the 4 BoA cards I have, I used the luv button on 2 so far, with the following results below:

1.  Cash Rewards WMC:  instant CLI from $11,100 -> $20,000

2.  BBR card #1:  instant CLI from $2,100 -> $10,000

Re: DoC reporting BoA to stop pulling HPs for CLI requests

I went for it and got the 7-10 day message, no HP alert yet.

They have always been really stingy with me on this card, the card is 12 years old.

Income in the 6 figures, TU from the BoA site 828. Total Personal Revolving CLs $106750

Currently at $16,100, requested $32,200.

The only thinkI can think of is it a 3-2-1 card with single digit APR and maybe that doesn't work for them.

EDIT:  Now showing $26,600 credit line.  Those of you with 7-10 message, go back and look again!
