Hey family. I recently attained $135k available credit on cards. I have two $15k BofA cards, one Visa and one MasterCard. I want to have a $30k card, and one that reports the limit. My Visa doesn't. Will BofA allow me to move my $15k from my Visa to my MasterCard, so that I can accomplish this?
Side Note: Citi, even though I burned them 9 years ago, and on multiple cards, only recently denied me for a card because of too many inquiries. So, in February-ish, I am going to reapply to get back in!
Thanks for the feedback. I will wait until some inquiries fall off too, so that way I can ask for a increase at the same time. At least they removed the inquiry though!

I would say that's a good idea. Ask for an increase first and then if you don't get what you want, move the limit over.
Well, I want to move the entire thing over, and close the Visa since they won't report the limit. The World MasterCard would report $30k...which would be great!
Partial success! I paid $5k on my BofA Siggy and got it down to zero yesterday. I called to move the $15k from my Siggy but was only able to move $14.5k, because they have to have at least $500 on the card, even if I am closing it. So I guess I'll ask for CLI for the other $500. Bummer. Almost a $30k limit is okay with me.
