Bonus MR for activating POT?

I also received this offer via email a few weeks ago and accepted it.

My 20K MR points were added to my account within 2 days.

Approved $10K POT limit on my Zync NPSL !

I don't have that feature. When it began, I opted out. But for 20,000 MR points I'd be opting in, no doubt. I think you should snatch up that offer.

I had the promo showing on my account and I activated on May 25th.  I still haven't gotten mine.  I've reached out to Amex several times as they don't see that promo on my account.  They've escalated it twice so far and no result so far.  I am due to call them back since last week, but haven't yet.

Same as if POT wasn't activated. No limit considered except on older models where the highest historical balance is used as the reported CL.

I wonder if the offer is churnable. Maybe I should opt out of POT. I PIF and only got 10k on Schwab for enrolling a few years ago.

I'm pretty sure I've gotten it twice on my Rose Gold card and once on my Platinum(now second Gold). Certainly worth deactivating on everything once a bonus is received. Haven't ever heard of it being clawed back.

I know that a few years ago AMEX clamped down on people churning the POT bonus, some to the point of shutting down accounts for abuse by RAT. But seems to be in the clear to churn since customers can turn off POT themselves now and AMEX still sends the offers out to even those that already got it before. They must be using some algorithm to make sure it's not totally abused like it was before
