Bugged Cap1 too much?

Been bugging Cap1 for CLI recently given all the luv they have been showing.........tried a couple of days ago, denied got the following message from them.  " A credit limit increase is currently not available upon request because Capital One is evaluating account activity at assigned credit limits."  

Is this something new from Cap1 ?

What is your balance vs CL? Usage pattern?

Balance is just over 1K, charged 1.3K last month, CL is 4.2K on this card...........so only used a  bit over 25%.  Will PIF before next statement.  Average about a  1K spend a month....sometimes less.  Just trying to get this card up to at least 5K.  It is an old card from HSBC that has morphed into a Venture Card but has retained the high interest rate from the old HSBC card of 28%!  You just can't carry a balance on a card like that.   Been lettling small bal report in hopes of getting a decent CLI.  Thinking about cancelling all my current Cap1 cards and starting over with them.

I doubt it's possible to bug them too much. I was hitting the CLI button constantly, and finally got a bump yesterday.

How often is constantly.........over the past month I've started hitting it about once a week.
