Re: CAPITAL ONE - Modify your Features button

I clicked and recieved/accepted an offer to upgrade my visa platinum to a no hassle rewards card a few weeks after the 'modify your features' button showed up on our accounts a few years ago, like several others posted at that time...since then, nada.

As I made mention of on another thread, please feel free to check out it's older cousin:

The Really Big Button That Doesn't Do Anything

ETA: One of the comments from the site linked to above is just as apropos of the Cap1 button:

"I just don't get it," says <snip>. "I mean, it's a button, sorta like the other piccy-links on the web, but I push it and it doesn't do anything. It's SUPPOSED to take me somewhere cool on the web or give me a sound file or an MPEG. (Substitute appropriate function for Cap1 button) But it doesn't. I don't get it! WHY GOD WHY?!?

Re: CAPITAL ONE - Modify your Features button

Just talked to a Account Specialist about upgrading my accounts. He said given my history with them, I should be eligible to upgrade and I should keep checking that "modify your feature" button.  After I told him that I've checked for the last year and nothing ever comes up, he told me that some cards are just not upgradable. He couldn't tell me if mine was one of those cards or not, and he did say that there was no way to tell.
