Hi guys, I have 2 credit cards with Chase, freedom and mileage plus explorer, and recently I got an increase of 2k for my MP. My question is I wonder if the increase affect my chance of getting approved for the SP card. I have no baddies, 5/12 accounts carries balances, debt ratio stands at 10%. The reason I want the SP card is to transfer points from my freedom(38k points) to SP then to MP so that I can redeem for travel purposes. Thanks!

with just that info I would say yes... Chase seems to love building that relationship and future cards seem to have higher limits than past!

If your income is good and you don't have too many new accounts, I think you should have no problem getting the card.
OP, your score is higher than mine and I was instantly approved with a 36% Overall UTIL! My starting CL was $12K! I also only had a Slate ($1K CL) when I applied. You'll be fine!

Hmmmm, if you opened new accounts, I would wait until all of those new accounts age 6 months and then apply for the card. You don't want to waste an INQ on a potential approval/denial.
