@lhcole77 wrote:How many recent INQs and TLs do you have, OP? I have a feeling these are factored in to APR.
It seems that they were for me.
Ihcole,
My inq's are low. EX - 1, EQ - 0, TU -2
1 EX and 1 TU is from a double pull by Chase and they are 10 months old. The other TU pull is over a year old now.
Trade lines are 5 cards, but I only use 3, 2 cards are in the sd. I don't app very often.

That's funny, I did the same thing this morning for citi pre qual and got the same 22.9% crap results.
I'm pretty sure I said "yea, okay citi..." out loud while sitting in my office.
That is strange, and you have good scores too.
I also checked out the Venture card today and they offered me 12.9%, and I haven't seen to many approvals with that int rate. As we all know, credit is a strange animal.

BoA always gives me offers for their "lowest rate ever" and it's like 23%
That is just plain mean, offering 23%. Just keep trying elsewhere.
My TYP is at 9.49%
I wonder if a crappy APR also equates to a crappy credit line if approved?
But saying that, my CDP has a CL of $9100 @ 21.9% - while my DC is 12.99% - go figure
I just ran my spouse's profile through the pre-qualifier, and this is what it came back:
Simplicity: 21.99%
DC: 22.99%
TY: 22.99%
Hilton HHonors: 15.24%
Last I checked his scores ranged in the 750-760 range, 3% utilization, 4 inquiries.
EDIT: Just did the pre qualifier for Capital One and the interest offers ranged from 10.9-12.9%.
Go figure!
