I called Macys backdoor number today and was told they have to do a hard pull for CLI's. I have the store card.

Can lenders still do a SP if my reports are frozen? I know BOA can, but I called GE to get a CLI on my wally and ON card, they told me I need to unfreeze my TU.

BOA I know for a fact did a SP on EX.

I think YMMV with Macy's/Bloomingdales. When I used my Macy's card years ago, I got several sp cli. I haven't used the card since 2011 and when I requested a cli last month, they said it would be a hp.

My Bloomingdales cli was a sp and the account was frequently used.

I know for a fact that BOA CLI is all HP now,; I requested one and it was a hP so was my grilfriend's

Good thing is that once they do a HP you can call back door to a cred analyst and ask to to reuse the CR( senior cred analyst told me up to 30days) to apply for a CC if you want or another CLI for a different card.
